What it means that we are not an advokatbyrå

Lodline is a juristbyrå, not an advokatbyrå. The distinction is real, and we would rather you understood it before you engage us than after.

What does not follow

The professional privilege attaching to the role of advokat — advokatsekretess — does not apply to this firm. Confidentiality here is contractual, undertaken in the engagement letter and enforceable as a contractual obligation, but it is not the same instrument.

What does follow

We are not bound by the Bar Association's monopoly on the title, which lets us build a firm around measurement — lawyers, analysts and project managers on one file — rather than around a single admitted individual. Where a matter requires an advokat before a court, we say so and work with counsel of record.

When it matters to you

If your matter needs privileged communication that will hold against disclosure in Swedish proceedings, tell us at first contact. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right instrument — before you have paid for anything.
